Andre kommentarer om hotellet: This hotel have clean, nice and big rooms.The only thing to complain is the hot water not funcion good all times (as many in Thailand)and Wi-fi not so good. The staff are very kind and helpfull, breakfast are good.Quiet and much value for money.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Nice hotel, not far from the very busy Sukhumvit Rd, it s still acceptably quiet. Staff friendly and very helpful, a nice trait is the offer of free rides in the hotel tuk-tuk to nearby shopping malls, restaurants or embassies. Free wireless internet in the room, connection on the slow side. Breakfast definitely acceptable to a Westerner. Eggs may be ordered any style. On Friday night, free drinks and snacks were affered in the bar area. Nice touch! Both my wife Lam and I were satisfied with our stay. Best wishes from Jan-Egil. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Overall, I think the Euro Grande Hotel was a good value at the special internet price of 1000 baht per night, but I would not pay the regular price. The staff were all nice and helpful, but there were too many other things that I did not enjoy. I was on the 11th floor and it was so hot that I had to leave the air conditioner on at night and it was too noisy to sleep. I woke up after only a couple of hours of sleep and could not go back to sleep. The room was inadequate in many respects: there was not a stand or something to put my suitcase on and absolutely no place like a dresser to put my clothing in; I ended up using a table that was meant to be like a coffee table. The closet had only a few hangers. I think the laundry prices were out of line and I was shocked to find that I was charged 16 baht per minute for any local calls that I made on the telephone in my room.I would hate to be in that building if an earthquake hit; I could actually feel the floor of the building sway when the empty elevator came up to my floor. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: For the price, perhaps the quality of the hotel was justified, but the pictures of the hotel on your website is terribly misleading. In some countries the pictures can be considered as a false advertisement. Peole were nice, but the hotel itself was way too old, way too run down. My 1st room had no shower curtain. Second room had broken airconditioner, finally the 3rd room was okay but unlike the 1st & 2nd room, the 3rd room had no safe box. Kitchen window was so dirty, with oil & dirt, you can t see outside. It was the 1st hotel in BKK who didn t offer complimentary bottles of water. I go to Thailand almost once a month. As far as the hotel quality is concerned, it was the worst. Bookingprosessen: Okay. A little confusing with the CASH payment. When I tried to fax the cash payment, the fax was an incorrect number. Therefore, I ended up having to book the hotel using my credit card instead.
Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Hotel is okay, a little dilapidated and needs upkeep. At least it was clean. The staff is very nice and tried to accommodate me when I was put in a smoking room.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: The hotel s location allows for easy access to Sky Train and Metro, along with several varied restaurants and shopping venues within walking distance. However, the hotel is aging and in need of major maintenance, both structually and aesthetically. Our room reeked of mold and the plaster was falling from the ceiling. Several floor tiles were broken and covered by worn rugs. The hallways were poorly lit and some were cluttered with old mattresses and worn furniture.On a good note, the hotel staff was exceptional and made up for the accommodations ten fold (and for the surly attitude of the managers/owners working the front desk). Mr. Poramet and his fellow workers helped create a memorable vacation through their attentiveness to our needs. I don t think we ll return to the Euro Grande Hotel, but we will call Mr. Poramet the next time we are in Bangkok. [PhuketGuiden.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Bookingprosessen: Shame couldn t do the whole booking process in one hit as needed to retrieve e-mail and then submit card details. A little difficult when you re on the move.
Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Value for money although could do with a refurb, very basic. I only stayed one night in Bangkok and just needed somewhere to shower and get my head down so fitted the bill nicely. Staff very friendly and would do anything for you.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: This was one of the worst hotels in Bangkok I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in a few having been here 24 years. The room was outdated, slightly dirty, sagging mattress, floors that were like a 200 baht short time hotel etc. The only thing I can say in its favor is the place is quiet, the staff are friendly and there is a free breakfast which is not the usual fired to death egg they serve a lot of here. If they refurbished the whole place I would stay again but I assume that is not on the cards as they would have done so already.[PhuketGuiden.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Bookingprosessen: The charge for Standard Room when booked over the phone was B2000. Res24 advertised the same room at B1250. I didn t have much time to book this room and was in a slight hurry but decided to try the internet service through Res24 as it would save me alot of the money, to my surprise the reservation was confirmed and payment made within about 1 hour online and the eVoucher received a further 1-2 hours later, this was during Thai working hours but I have to say that the response was very good. It has taken me 1-2 days in the past with some booking agencies.
Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Hotel was excellent value, I would definitely regard it as my No.1 choice in Bangkok even above the Majestic Hotel in Nana which is not bad. Breakfast adequate but not special, entrance looks classy, corridors look a bit out dated and need of some repair (can look like one of those bargain hotels) however this changes once you enter your room. I had a Standard Room but it was big, well layed out, probably looked more expensive a few years ago when it was new and quiet with everything you need, just what I had hoped for. The only negative thing was a slight paint odour which had not left the room so I guess it had been touched up quite recently. Never the less for B1250 with double bed etc I was impressed. One thing I noticed was that this hotel was mainly occupied by Japanese clients, you will find this traditional for the area of Soi 31 but for me this can be a good thing, the Japanese in some ways have more respect and alot more sofistication than some of their English and American counterparts, in all this makes it a much more pleasant surrounding than other more busy and noisy parts of Bangkok. You will find that you are not harrassed by Taxis touts outside the hotel and although you are not right ontop of Sukhumvit Rd it only takes 5-10 min to walk to the BTS station. It is also within easy reach of the underground station (via Asoke), Ekkamai bus station and Soi Cowboy. If you want any high class waitress bars then then Soi 33 is only round the corner too. So basically you can get anywhere very quickley and economically. One thing I found surprising during my vacation and not advertised anywhere even within the hotel was what goes on on Floor 3! but you will find this happens all over the area, very descrete and is popular with the Japanese, you will probably find better entertainment elsewhere though if thats what you re looking for but thats another story. The only other thing worth mentioning for those who want to know is that there is no additional girl charge! not always the case with some of the other more expensive hotels.
