Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Hôtel bien en général, mais pourrais avoir un meilleur entretien, surtout des salles de bains.Pour avoir pris une chambre top de luxe, il manque une bouilloire pour se faire un café et surtout pas de safe.

Great ocian view!But little dissapointed with TV was flapping even I asked to fix the cable..and surprised with the flood after bathing...Anyway, this is Thailand let s just forget small things^^I would like to come back again! Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Very nice hotel, nicly situated in front of the beach. Have several swimming pool which is a plus since the sea in Pattaya/Jomtien Beach isn t often great. Situated in a area than is less noisy, restaurants are situated within walking distance but none that are great. Staff was very nice and friendly too. Room is a little old & maybe new TV s are needed to make it better.

Top deluxe rooms are ocean front, higher deluxe rooms have decent ocean view, all others have no views of the ocean and you can t enjoy ocean breezes on your balcony. Front desk people very nice, pool is nice, and buffet breakfast OK. Octagon bar is a nice mellow place to eat and relax at night.

The hotel is close to the beach and breakfast is good. I would recommend this hotel if you want to live in Jomtien away from noise and disturbance in the city center. Fortunately the hotel has a splendid pool area.The rooms could be refurbished. The staff is friendly and helpful.The fellow guests and their behaviour may disturb you, mass tourism: Russian and German groups in abundance.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Meine Familie war schon fuenf Mal an der Jomtien Beach. Bisher schon waren wir mit den Hotels hier sehr zufrieden, haben aber bisher immer das Hotel gewechselt, um etwas Abwechslung zu haben.Dieses Mal jedoch waren wir mit dem Hotel so zufrieden, dass wir das naechste Mal wieder hierherkommen. Herrliches, taeglich wechselndes Fruehstueck (man kann es wohl eher mit dem Wort >Brunch< beschreiben. 3 superschoene, grosse Swimmingpools. Ein wirklich riesiges Zimmer und, und , und ... Koennte fuer diesen Preis (nur 3-stoeckiges Chalet Wing - 1350 Baht) gar nicht genug ins Schwaermen kommen. Vielleicht sind nur die Cottages am >Shamu-Pool< besser. Wirklich sehr, sehr empfehlenswert (nicht unbedingt im Haupthaus ein Zimmer nehmen - vielleicht zu lebhaft und anonym)Anbindung nach Pattaya einfach: Alle Minute kommt ein Songthaew (Sammeltaxi) und faehrt fuer 20 Baht in die Stadt, ganz egal wo man aussteigt.Strand gut zum Relaxen, sauber und mit einfachem, aber guten Service. Seven e eleven fuer guenstige Getraenke 20 m vom Strand.Sehr empfehlenswert fuer Familien!

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Grand Jomtien is a nice hotel.So is the chalet ving, with the swimmingpools.But, a strange situation occured here and i would like to tell about it.I booked 2 rooms in my name. No problems with PhuketGuiden.com booking. Thai family of my wife was supposed to stay in room 2. When arriving reseption said problem with my booking, I could not have 2 rooms and rooms was more expensive for a thai. (first time I experienced in Thailand that anything is more expencive for a thai than for a foreigner) I was then charged extra 300 THB/ night. Since PhuketGuiden.com booking say money paid is not refundable and I allready had paid 30000 THB for the rooms I felt i had no choice but to pay extra 300 THB for 10 nights (3000 THB). My wife checked by phone room rate for Thai and she was told 1550 THB witch was 200 THB over the price I paid on Internett.Strange? Well, 3,5 Years ago I was att this same hotel with the thai family of my wife in one of two booked rooms and paid by me. No question about extra charge for thai that time, Strange?In this case I am not happy with the hotel and their way of doing business This was my 3 time on grand Jomtien and propably my last time. Presenting to customers/guests this kind of strange charges is not a clever way to do business or run a hotel. And, plenty of cats running around in the chalet ving without owners. I dislike it when cats go around close to the trolley where the bed linnen is. A cat also had given birth inside the hotel.And also 3 dogs (no tag, not vaccinated) and propably without ower also living in the swimmingpool area. The wild life should be cleaned up on the hotel... Andre kommentarer om hotellet: After 4 weeks of spending a lot of money we decided to have 2 last low-budget days on the beach before we d have to move back to Europe. Well, this hotel was an excellent choice! Make sure you book ocean view.. it s just €5,- more per room per night and you ll have a boulevard/ocean/pool view at night and the next morning. GOOD VALUE for your money! You could see the hotel is old, because the bathtub showed some brown corrosion spots, the carpet was old and had many spots, and the tv and remote wasn t working properly anymore, but hey! you re not in thailand to watch tv, so I m very satisfied about the hotel, because it was very clean, the bed/matrass was very good and the breakfast was great (a lot of choice!), staff was friendly. Very close to beach and if you have to be in Chon Buri, Jomtien is a much better choice than Pattaya, because it s quiet on the beach and you don t notice anything of the industry going on in Pattaya. If you leave hotel, it s only 20 steps (1 minute) away from the sea/water.Only minor thing: the small elevators. There were only 2 elevators and sometimes we had to wait for the next round because only 4 adults can take place in the elevator.Overall opinion: Best value for money, in other words: Excellent![PhuketGuiden.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: The Grand Jomtien Palace is a fabulous hotel. The service is fantastic and the two large pools are great. Pool bar service is second to none. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the staff are great. Away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya but near enough to get a Bath Bus to the centre. Many bars and restaurants nearby and right opposite the Jomtien beach. I have stayed here twice now for a month each time and highly recommend it. Not many English guests but that doesnt bother me.
