Andre kommentarer om hotellet: I was not impressed by the rude behavior of lots of the guests as some of the russians and indians that stay there do not know how to be polite when sharing facilities like an elevator. They also were loud and drunk at night. [PhuketGuiden.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Bookingprosessen: Intially we had booked a different hotel and all seemed confirmed. However got an email about an hour late to say hotel was full - then why leave the booking go through?? It recommended the royal cruise hotel so booked it. There were too many steps in booking - waiting for confirmation emails etc. Any other website we have booked through, it is one simple step.
Andre kommentarer om hotellet: When checking in, we were advised if we lost one of our key cards, there was a 300baht charge. We have stayed in many hotels world wide and this is the first time we encountered this. Our room had a two pages list of repair costs if anything in the room was damaged. Fair enough you pay if you cause damage but this was down to the service menu. We were afraid to touch anything! Due to heavy rain, the wall behind our bed leaked all night. We complained but to no avail. We were glad to be checking out in the morning. We are a very easy going couple and do not usually complain but this was the worse place we ever stayed. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, I have been traveling to Thailand for many years and have stayed in all sorts of hotels and resorts , I m not that fussy and am generally happy with the basics. I don t think I have ever left a bad review on PhuketGuiden.com and have been using the service years. This hotel although clean and looks nice is NOT value for money and appears to be geared towards Tour groups from Japan etc. For starter after our initial booking we recieved an email requiring an additional surcharge on top of advertised rate, when we got to the hotel our room was very small and only had 2 single beds in it pushed together (not even made up together as one bed)we asked them to resolve this , but they never did, as the hotel is designed to look like a ship our room was located at the bow (front) of the ship and thus had curved walls which made the room even smaller. Also at the pool areas (two) which also looks nice they started removing the sun loungers and setting up tables for dinner at about 3.30/4 o clock which wasn t relaxing and we where told the area was closed at 5.30!!! to allow for allow for bus loads of Japanese tourists to have buffet dinners. and they closed both pools which didn t make sense??? we where told we could use the pool in the hotel across the street.... we didn t pay to stay in the cheaper hotel across the street!!! Food was ok but way over priced for what it was. And to top it all off we had a late check out of 1 hour and they charged us 1800 baht for the delay and where quite rude about it too. Do not stay at this hotel , not value for money, much better hotels in the area for a better price , Sunshine Vista(which we have stayed in many times) on the same road is a far better hotel for better price. will not stay here again. Bookingprosessen: We specifically asked for smoking rooms and were never informed that this was a non smoking hotel
Andre kommentarer om hotellet: We were very pleased with this hotel. It is in a great location with views of the sea. We stayed in standard accommodation and couldn t really have asked for more. The rooms were big enough, had huge beds, a reasonable balcony (for us to smoke on as the rooms are non smoking). We will happily stay here again next time we come diving.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Our stay was enjoyable. The hotel is central to the shopping areas and walking distance to the beach. The staff were nice and the hotel was well kept and clean. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices and was excellent. We wish we could have stayed loner at this hotel. A-One Royal Cruise is the best and I highly recommend it.

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: Stayed in deluxe room. Mainbuilding. Nice room and splendid seaview. Breakfast was good and the service is great. Minor is the lack of modern utilities concerning internet. You have to pay too much for such a simple action like getting connected. WIFI only in the lobby after you ve gotten the codes from the cashier. No extra costs. I think it s quite an improvement if you have free access to the internet from your room. Andre kommentarer om hotellet: very clean and well maintained hotel. Friendly staff and good facilities. I am not sure that it is the best value in Pattaya, but i guess being right on the beachfront you do pay a premium price. Probably look for a cheaper place next time. But it is a good hotel

Andre kommentarer om hotellet: From the start I was given a small room to the rear of the hotel although I booked and payed for a Ocian veiw room.I booked the room for two people should my wife return from her family up North I was then told it would be 1000baht extra per night for my wife. I was charged 500baht to use the internet for 30mins and another200baht for a printed page Ie voucher for my next hotel stay in Bangkok.I gave my breakfast voucher to a member of staff but after I had sat down to eat it I was told I had to pay extra because I had more coffee. On the last day of my stay I was imformed that my taxi to the bus station in pattaya would cost 3.200 baht from the hotel.This hotel has only one service that it does well and that is to OVER CHARGE.
